This one-day high-level meeting, on the third day of its seventy-third session of the UN General Assembly, will undertake a comprehensive review of the NCDs, with the overall theme being “Scaling up multi-stakeholder and multisectoral responses for the prevention and control of non-communicable diseases in the context of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”.

The UN High-Level Meeting on NCDs is a unique opportunity for governments to showcase how they have progressed on NCDs and the time to take bold political commitments towards addressing the NCD epidemic.
